A systematic study of 543 first-hand accounts of spiritual awakenings, analyzing patterns in what people experience, what precedes it, how the body changes, and what integration entails. My research offers insights for experiencers of sudden awakening, clinicians, and other researchers focused on emergent phenomenology.
