Preparation and Integration for Psychedelic Therapy

About the Course

“I am certain that the LSD experience has helped me very much. I find myself with a heightened color perception and an appreciation of beauty almost destroyed by my years of depression… The sensation that the partition between ‘here’ and ‘there’ has become very thin is constantly with me.” - Bill Wilson, founder of Alcoholics Anonymous, in a 1957 letter

The resurgence of interest in psychedelic medicine in the modern era holds a promise of profound transformation in the field of mental health and beyond. Backed by a growing body of scientific research, substances like psilocybin ("magic mushrooms"), MDMA, and LSD are being re-evaluated for their potential in treating a range of conditions such as depression, PTSD, and anxiety, particularly in cases where conventional therapies have failed.

This renaissance is not just about symptom relief; it's about fundamentally rethinking our approach to mental health. Psychedelics, under controlled and therapeutic settings, offer a unique opportunity to explore and heal the deeper psychological and spiritual dimensions of the self. Their ability to induce profound, meaningful experiences that can lead to lasting personal growth and change is unprecedented relative to many treatments that exist today. It suggests a future where mental health treatment transcends the limitations of current practices, integrating the lessons from ancestral wisdom and cutting-edge science to foster holistic well-being.

While the transformative potential of psychedelics is immense, their long-term benefits often go unrealized without proper preparation and integration into daily life. As Dr. Stanislav Grof said:

"Without integration, a psychedelic journey is just a fleeting memory; with it, a step towards enlightenment."

To address this, Tracy developed a toolkit designed for the safe and effective preparation and integration of psychedelic therapy to ensure you get the most out of your psychedelic-assisted experience. This self-guided course will cover:

  • A comprehensive 6-month timeline
  • The essential role of setting intentions
  • Preparation for the psychedelic session
  • Guidance on how to integrate insights from the session

About Tracy Lawrence

Tracy is an entrepreneur, a coach to other entrepreneurs and executives, and a certified psychedelic integration coach with expertise in somatic practices and inner parts work. Through private, co-founder, and group coaching, Tracy supports leaders’ efforts to maintain their mental health as they scale their companies to help the world.

Before becoming a coach, Tracy co-founded and was CEO of Chewse, a San Francisco-based venture-backed technology company. Over a decade, she raised $40M from top-tier venture capitalists, grew the company to 300 employees in 5 markets, and successfully sold the company in 2020. She was also included in Forbes 30 Under 30 and is a Young Presidents Organization (YPO) member.

Her journey as a first-time founder was challenging, marked by frequent fundraising rejections, layoffs, and personal struggles with depression, burnout, and imposter syndrome. These experiences taught her the importance of setting boundaries, fostering community, and prioritizing health while building your company or career.

After selling her company, Tracy took a six-month sabbatical for reflection and recovery, utilizing psychedelic integration and somatic therapy to heal from the rigors of founding a company. Her new goal is to impart these lessons to other entrepreneurs, ensuring they have the support and guidance she wished she had.
